- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing dish)

- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter.
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, white sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the apples. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best experience.
