  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing dish)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, white sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the apples. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best experience.
