Delicious Country Apple Fritter Cake

For the Crust:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples and pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over cooled cake.
