For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring well.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle hot fudge sauce evenly over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
