			For the Crust:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas and vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Fold in toasted pecans.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool completely before serving.
