Decadent Banana Caramel Fudge Brownies

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed banana.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool before slicing.
