For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed banana.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool before slicing.
