Crockpot Steak Bites

Tender and juicy crockpot steak bites made with sirloin steak, garlic, butter, and savory au jus gravy. A simple weeknight dinner that’s perfect for the whole family.

  • Total Time: 4-6.25 hours
  • Yield: 6-8 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch bite-sized pieces
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pats
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into 1 inch bites, discarding any pieces of fat or gristle
  2. Place the steak in the bottom of a crock pot
  3. Cover with au jus gravy mix and onion soup mix, then place the pats of butter on top
  4. Pour the beef broth over the steak
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours

Notes

Any cut of steak works, but sirloin is recommended for affordability. Even tougher cuts will tenderize during the long cooking time. Optional garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
