Crème Brûlée Cheesecake Cupcakes

A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and caramelized crème brûlée in a cupcake form.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, for topping

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press 1 tbsp into each liner.
  3. Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream.
  4. Divide batter evenly among liners. Bake for 20-25 minutes until set.
  5. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 2 hours.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over cupcakes. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar.
