Creamy German Chocolate Cheesecake

A rich and decadent cheesecake with layers of German chocolate, creamy filling, and a crunchy crust.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Fold in coconut and pecans. Pour half the batter over the crust. Drizzle with melted chocolate, then top with remaining batter.
  4. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
