Creamy Garlic Mushroom Beef

A rich and savory dish featuring tender beef slices, mushrooms, and a creamy garlic sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic. Sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and add thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
