For the Crust:

  • 8 oz pasta (rotini or penne)
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  3. Add the cooled pasta, crab meat, celery, red bell pepper, and green onions to the bowl. Gently toss to coat evenly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. Stir well before serving and garnish with additional green onions if desired.
