Cream Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Doritos Chicken

Stuffed chicken breasts filled with a creamy mixture of cream cheese, bacon, and cheese, then coated in crushed Doritos for a crispy, savory finish.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the pocket of each chicken breast and seal with toothpicks if needed.
  3. Set up three shallow dishes with flour, beaten eggs, and crushed Doritos.
  4. Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in crushed Doritos.
  5. Place breaded chicken on a prepared baking sheet and bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 25–30 minutes until cooked through and golden.
  6. Remove from oven and serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use toothpicks to secure chicken openings if needed. The Doritos coating will be crispy when the chicken is golden. Any Doritos flavor works for this recipe.
