For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs chicken tenders
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
- Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the cheese and breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Place coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
