- 2 gala apples, chopped
- 5–7 pieces fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 4 ½ cups water
Instructions
- Chop the gala apples into small pieces.
- Add the chopped apples, sliced ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water to a pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20-30 minutes until the apples are soft and the flavors have infused.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into cups.
- Stir in the maple syrup to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy the cozy flavors.
Notes
This tea is naturally caffeine-free and budget-friendly. For a stronger ginger flavor, add more ginger slices. It’s perfect for fall and can be sweetened with maple syrup or your preferred sweetener.
