Ingredients
Scale
- 2 gala apples, chopped
- 5–7 pieces fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 4 ½ cups water
Instructions
- Chop the gala apples and slice the fresh ginger.
- In a medium pot, combine the chopped apples, sliced ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20-30 minutes until the apples are soft and the flavors have infused.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into cups or a teapot.
- Stir in the pure maple syrup to sweeten.
- Serve warm and enjoy the cozy flavors.
Notes
This tea is naturally caffeine-free and budget-friendly. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup. The simmering time can be extended for a stronger flavor.
