For the Crust:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Blue food coloring
- 1 cup crushed chocolate chip cookies
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add blue food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- When the ice cream is almost done churning, add the crushed cookies and mini chocolate chips.
- Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
