Cookie Monster Ice Cream

A fun and delicious blue ice cream packed with cookie chunks and chocolate chips.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate chip cookies
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add blue food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. When the ice cream is almost done churning, add the crushed cookies and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
