Churro Cheesecake

A delicious fusion of churros and cheesecake, featuring a cinnamon-sugar crust and creamy cheesecake filling.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing any perforations.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the dough in the dish.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the cream cheese layer, pressing edges to seal.
  5. Pour melted butter over the top layer. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the butter.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
