Christmas No Bake Chocolate Cherry Pie

A festive and easy no-bake pie combining a chocolate cookie crust and creamy chocolate mousse filling layered with cherry pie filling, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch chocolate cookie crumb crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping
  • Optional: shaved chocolate or cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and blend until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and gently fold it into the chocolate cream cheese mixture to create a light mousse.
  5. Spread half of the chocolate mousse evenly over the chocolate cookie crust.
  6. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the mousse layer evenly.
  7. Spread the remaining chocolate mousse over the cherry layer.
  8. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  9. Optional: Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with shaved chocolate or fresh cherries.

Notes

For a richer chocolate flavor, use bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chips. Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for smooth mixing. Refrigerate overnight for best texture and flavor blend.
