Chocolate Cheesecake

A rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter, press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Stir in melted chocolate until fully combined. Pour over crust.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
