Chocolate Cheesecake

A rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust, perfect for chocolate lovers.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Blend in sour cream, then eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  3. Stir in melted chocolate and cocoa powder until fully combined. Pour over crust.
  4. Bake for 55-60 minutes until center is almost set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
