Chocolate Caramel Peanut Brownies

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, roughly chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, then whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, stirring until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan, then drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl with a knife.
  5. Sprinkle chopped peanuts evenly over the batter.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
