Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A hearty and flavorful one-pan dish featuring tender potatoes, smoked sausage, and melted cheese with a ranch seasoning twist.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, quartered
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, add sliced sausage to the baking sheet, and stir to combine. Return to oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and bake for 3-5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
