For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add uncooked egg noodles to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the sauce. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover and let melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
