Cheesy Beef and Noodles Skillet

A hearty and comforting one-pan dish with ground beef, tender egg noodles, and melted cheese.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked egg noodles to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the sauce. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover and let melt for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
