Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples

A delicious dessert featuring baked apples stuffed with creamy cheesecake filling and topped with a crunchy streusel.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 large apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Core the apples, leaving the bottom intact to hold the filling.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture, leaving a little space at the top for the streusel.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and melted butter to make the streusel topping.
  5. Sprinkle the streusel over the filled apples and place them in a baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
