Cheesecake Egg Rolls

Crispy egg rolls filled with creamy cheesecake and fruit, perfect for a sweet and surprising dessert.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries or fruit preserves
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in diced strawberries or a spoonful of fruit preserves.
  2. Place an egg roll wrapper diagonally. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center. Fold bottom corner over filling, then fold sides inward, and roll tightly. Moisten top corner with water to seal.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
