For the Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (14 oz) bag caramels, unwrapped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and pecans in a bowl. Press firmly into a 9×9 inch pan.
- In a saucepan, melt caramels with heavy cream over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour over crust.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread over caramel layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
