For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
- Brush the pastry with olive oil, then evenly sprinkle blue cheese, walnuts, thyme, salt, and pepper over the surface.
- Roll the pastry tightly from the long side into a log, then slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place the rounds on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
