- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup black cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, black cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of cookie dough onto baking sheets. Make an indentation in each and fill with cheesecake mixture. Swirl gently.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring.
