For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup grated Asiago cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 3–4 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine flour, Asiago cheese, salt, and black pepper. Pulse to mix. Add cold butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until dough comes together. Form into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll dough out on a floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
