For the Crust:
- 1 box fudge brownie mix (plus required oil and eggs)
- 1/2 cup canned cherry pie filling, drained and chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 12 oz dark chocolate melting wafers
- 1/4 cup crushed chocolate cookie crumbs
- Maraschino cherries with stems for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and bake in 9×9 pan. Let cool completely, then crumble into large bowl.
- Mix chopped cherries into crumbled brownies until well combined. Take tablespoon-sized portions and flatten in palm.
- Place teaspoon of cookie dough in center of brownie circle, then wrap brownie around dough and roll into smooth ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
- Melt chocolate wafers according to package directions. Dip each ball completely in chocolate using fork, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with cookie crumbs. Top each with a maraschino cherry before chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
