Black Forest Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs

Decadent brownie balls filled with cherry and chocolate chip cookie dough, dipped in dark chocolate and garnished with cherry and cookie crumbs.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 box fudge brownie mix (plus required oil and eggs)
  • 1/2 cup canned cherry pie filling, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 oz dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 1/4 cup crushed chocolate cookie crumbs
  • Maraschino cherries with stems for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and bake in 9×9 pan. Let cool completely, then crumble into large bowl.
  2. Mix chopped cherries into crumbled brownies until well combined. Take tablespoon-sized portions and flatten in palm.
  3. Place teaspoon of cookie dough in center of brownie circle, then wrap brownie around dough and roll into smooth ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  4. Melt chocolate wafers according to package directions. Dip each ball completely in chocolate using fork, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Place on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with cookie crumbs. Top each with a maraschino cherry before chocolate sets.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
