Best Strawberry Pie

A deliciously sweet and tangy strawberry pie with a flaky crust, perfect for summer desserts.

For the Crust:

  • 2 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cubed
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 9-inch pie dish with the pre-made crust and crimp the edges.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and butter. Gently fold in strawberries. Pour mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool completely before serving.
  5. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
