For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz wide egg noodles, cooked
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked noodles, followed by half of the beef mixture, half of the sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
