Banana Walnut Dream Cake

A moist and flavorful cake packed with ripe bananas and crunchy walnuts, perfect for any occasion.

For the Crust:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into banana mixture. Stir in buttermilk until smooth. Fold in walnuts.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
