Banana Cheesecake Cupcakes

Deliciously moist banana cupcakes topped with a creamy cheesecake swirl and a hint of cinnamon.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, granulated sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth. Drop a spoonful onto each cupcake and swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
