- 4 medium sweet potatoes

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
- Dry the sweet potatoes with a clean towel.
- Prick each sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Rub each sweet potato with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try topping your baked sweet potatoes with butter, cinnamon, or a drizzle of honey. Wrapping them in foil can speed up cooking but results in softer skin.
