Baked Pears with Blue Cheese

A delightful combination of sweet pears and tangy blue cheese, baked to perfection for an elegant appetizer or dessert.

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place pear halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle blue cheese and walnuts over each pear half. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle black pepper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender and cheese is slightly melted.
  5. Serve warm as an appetizer or dessert.
