Baked Cod with Lemon and Garlic

A simple and flavorful baked cod dish with fresh lemon and garlic.

For the Crust:

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place cod fillets in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and rub minced garlic over the fillets.
  3. Season with oregano, salt, and black pepper. Arrange lemon slices on top of the fillets.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
