Apple Bubble Up Casserole

  • 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Fuji)
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Dice apples into cubes. Cut biscuit dough into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Toss apples and dough with granulated sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated.
  4. Spread mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  5. Drizzle melted butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, and add pecans if using.
  6. Bake 25–30 minutes until biscuits are puffed, golden, and slightly caramelized.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
