For the Crust:
- 8 large dill pickles, halved lengthwise and hollowed out
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed-out pickle halves, pressing gently to fill evenly.
- Set up a breading station: place flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs in separate shallow dishes.
- Dredge each stuffed pickle in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place stuffed pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
