For the Crust:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom buns.
- Layer grilled chicken, cheese, lettuce, and tomato on each bun.
- Serve immediately while warm.
