30-Minute Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A quick and delicious grilled chicken sandwich with fresh toppings, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
  4. Toast the sandwich buns lightly on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl to create a spread.
  6. Assemble sandwiches by spreading the mayo-mustard mixture on the buns, then adding lettuce, tomato, and grilled chicken.
