30-Minute Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A quick and delicious grilled chicken sandwich with fresh toppings and a tangy sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard to make the sauce.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble sandwiches by spreading sauce on buns, then layering lettuce, tomato, onion, and sliced chicken.
